Discover the Fascination of Amber!

The Natural History Museum of East Bavaria invites children aged 7 and older to a unique hands-on event. In "Tears of the Gods," young participants will learn everything there is to know about the mysterious material amber. Highlight of the day is the chance to polish a piece of amber by hand.

Under expert guidance, children will learn about the astonishing history and special properties of amber. Afterwards, they will get to work themselves and polish their own piece of amber. This self-created artwork can be taken home as a souvenir.
