Reiner Kröhnert makes Regensburg merzwürdig

Political cabaret meets biting parody: Reiner Kröhnert comes to the STATT-THEATER in Regensburg on October 28, 2026, with his program HE – now it's going to be MERZworthy. Starting at 7:30 PM, the multiple award-winning parodist transforms current politics into a pointed laugh experience with sharp timing, distinctive stage presence, and plenty of recognition value.

When political language suddenly sounds funny

Kröhnert's specialty lies in the precise imitation of prominent personalities. The focus is on Friedrich Merz, but Donald Trump, Angela Merkel, Robert Habeck, and Boris Becker also fall under his satirical observational skills. Facial expressions, gestures, voice, and speech rhythm merge into a parody, where even usual political clichés suddenly sound like absurd stage dialogues.

Sharp punchlines with perfect timing

The program combines stand-up elements, political cabaret, and refined character parody. Kröhnert does not rely on loud constant fire, but on the targeted hit: a pause at the right moment, a suspiciously familiar tone, and a punchline that approaches with a polite smile and then bites quite accurately. The comedy atmosphere remains intelligent, pointed, and pleasantly uncomfortable.

An evening between fright and laughter

The event program plays teasingly with the thought that the true political horror entity of our time does not come from a horror film but can be found in the Berlin political scene. Kröhnert's stage characters interact and bring governmental constructs, political rituals, and public self-presentation into question. The audience can expect a lively mix of satire, parody, and dry wit.

A cabaret artist with awards

Reiner Kröhnert has stood for political cabaret with high transformation art for decades. His awards include the Ravensburger Kupferle, the Gaul von Niedersachsen, the Goldene Resonanz, and the Leipziger Löwenzahn. In October 2025, he also received the Berlin Cabaret Prize Der EDDI. His programs have repeatedly been recorded for television.

Conclusion: Politics rarely looks this funny

Those who love political satire, pointed parodies, and strong audience reactions will experience a cabaret evening with a sharp profile at the STATT-THEATER. Reiner Kröhnert dissects well-known voices and political peculiarities until news material becomes excellent stage entertainment. Anyone who wants to experience Friedrich Merz in a particularly merzwürdig variant should see this evening live.
