Four accordions, ten sound colors, and a concert afternoon in the castle
On Sunday, October 25, 2026, Castle Höfling in Regensburg transforms into a resonance space for extraordinary accordion music. As part of the Höflinger Schlosskonzerte, the ensemble 4 Bellows 4 Tales presents a versatile program with four professionally trained musicians and more than ten different accordions.
Baroque to Modern in new sonic attire
Button accordion, piano accordion, diatonic accordion, and bandoneon come together, opening up a broad musical spectrum. The arrangements connect works and stylistic worlds from Baroque to Modern. Traditional sound concepts encounter contemporary ensemble work, while the musicians extract new colors from the accordion with precise synchronization, differentiated articulation, and adaptable orchestration.
An ensemble with unusual sound architecture
Stefano Bembi, Zoran Lupinc, Maurizio Marchesich, and Imad Saletović unite four individual instrumental timbres into a common ensemble sound. Each accordion possesses its own expression, dynamics, and sound characteristics. The result is a multi-layered stage performance that alternates between chamber musical refinement, rhythmic energy, and surprising sound mixtures.
Historical ambiance meets musical diversity
Castle Höfling provides the perfect setting for this special concert date. The historical atmosphere of the late Baroque castle building combines with the immediate live atmosphere of a concert, where the mechanics, breath, and resonance of the instruments become palpable. The audience can expect a concert experience with musical closeness, varied dramaturgy, and an audience mood that ranges from concentrated listening to lively applause.

Doors open at 2:30 PM, and the concert starts at 3:00 PM. The event has open seating. Tickets cost 50 euros; young people up to 18 years and students receive a discount of 10 euros.
