Flute plus Organ: Colorful Sounds between Bach and Modernity

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the parish church of St. Joseph in Regensburg-Reinhausen will transform into a space for delicate flute lines and powerful organ sounds. The concert begins at 3:00 PM and combines historical music with the unique acoustics of a sacred interior.

Virtuoso Dialogues in the Church Space

Elia Zuberti on flute and Christian Henne on organ will present a concert program where the two instruments meet directly. Bright, agile flute passages encounter the colorful sound spectrum of the organ. The musical synchronization creates transparent dialogues as well as powerful, room-filling highlights.

From C. Ph. E. Bach to Langlais

The program features works by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Jean Langlais, and Johann Sebastian Bach. Thus, the afternoon spans a curve from the sensitive style of the 18th century through the French organ tradition to Bach's contrapuntal precision. The combination of flute and organ opens up different sound perspectives: chamber music lightness, clear line development, and festive depth.

Live Atmosphere in St. Joseph

The parish church of St. Joseph provides the perfect setting for a concentrated concert experience. The reverberation of the church space enhances the sound of the organ and gives the flute a floating presence. Between breath, articulation, and organ stops, an audience atmosphere arises that makes every detail of the stage performance immediately tangible.

A Musical Sunday Afternoon

The concert is aimed at everyone who appreciates classical music, organ art, and intimate chamber music moments. Instead of a grand show, the direct effect of music-making is in focus: two instruments, a special space, and a program with works by three stylistically influential composers.

Conclusion: Flute plus Organ promises an atmospheric concert between Baroque, sensitivity, and modern sound language. Those who wish to experience the connection of delicate flute, orchestral organ, and sacred acoustics live will find a special musical afternoon in St. Joseph on October 4, 2026.
