Oriental Sound Worlds: Baran Lights Up Regensburg

When warm string sounds meet lively rhythms and the emotional depth of oriental music, a concert experience with a special atmosphere arises. At the Oriental Song Evening with Baran at the St. Lukas Community Center, the audience can expect a musical journey through Kurdish tradition, oriental sound language, and modern arrangements.

Between Longing and Energy

The BARAN Band connects traditional melodies with contemporary musical design. Their music moves between intimate calm, rhythmic energy, and a palpable cultural diversity. In the live atmosphere of the community center, vocals, Saz, Oud, and violin create a warm timbre that fosters immediate closeness.

Musical Diversity with Characteristic Sound

At the center are compositions by band founder Rezan Morad. His musical expression shapes the sound of Baran, blending the rich musical tradition of the Middle East with a modern stage performance. The instrumentation creates a finely tuned orchestration: plucked strings, melodic lines of the violin, and expressive vocals intertwine and develop an intense musical dramaturgy.

An Evening for Open Ears

The Oriental Song Evening is aimed at all who want to experience Kurdish and oriental music live, discover new sound worlds, or hear familiar melodies in a special interpretation. The audience's mood thrives on the immediate connection between stage and hall – from quiet, touching moments to rhythmic passages with infectious energy.
