PlayDay in Regensburg: Fun, Gaming, and New Encounters at the Degginger
On October 8, 2026, the Degginger in Regensburg will transform into an open meeting place for gaming enthusiasts from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The PlayDay combines board games, card games, pen & paper, Warhammer 40k, and video games into a multifaceted event experience for children, teenagers, adults, as well as curious newcomers.
Gaming Worlds for Every Taste
Whether it's a group board game, a quick card game, a fantasy pen-&-paper adventure, or a tabletop battle: The PlayDay focuses on participation. Video games and selected virtual reality offerings are also part of the program. If you have a favorite game, feel free to bring it along and find fellow players.
Open Atmosphere for Families and Newcomers
The PlayDay emphasizes simple encounters and a lively event atmosphere. No preparation is required for several games. Newcomers are welcome, allowing for immediate engagement in new gaming worlds without prior knowledge. The audience's mood thrives on trying out, explaining, and laughing together.
Gaming, Creativity, and Social Interaction
The event management is supported by actors from the Regensburg gaming and game development scene. GameDev Regensburg, the Gaming Community Regensburg, and the Nerd Culture Club bring together different perspectives. This creates an event that connects entertainment, creativity, teamwork, and exchange.
Urban Event Experience at the Degginger
Located in the heart of Regensburg's old town, the Degginger provides the perfect setting for the PlayDay. The cultural and creative venue stands for innovation, exchange, and shared experiences. The indoor event creates manageable conditions and combines playful energy with the unique ambiance of an established cultural venue in Regensburg.
Conclusion: Regensburg Plays Together
The PlayDay offers a free, varied game night for families, friend groups, gaming fans, and anyone looking to meet new people. Those who want to experience gaming culture live, try out new formats, and become part of an open community in a relaxed atmosphere should mark October 8, 2026, at the Degginger.
