Multigenerational Poetry Slam in Regensburg: When Words Connect Generations

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Multigenerational House in Ostengasse will become the meeting point for all who want to not only read language but experience it live. The Multigenerational Poetry Slam brings poetic stage art into an atmosphere of exchange and opens the space for different perspectives, voices, and life worlds.

Poesy with Direct Stage Energy

Poetry Slam combines literary quality with immediate performance. Self-composed texts meet voice, rhythm, attitude, and presence. Between pointed observation, humorous twists, and reflective moments, a literary experience unfolds that makes its impact through direct contact with the audience.

An Evening for Multiple Generations

The special appeal of this format lies in its intergenerational character. Different experiences and linguistic styles encounter each other on stage, while the audience listens, laughs, reflects, and discovers new approaches to contemporary literature together. Thus, the Poetry Slam becomes a cultural meeting place in the heart of Regensburg.

Literature, Performance, and Social Exchange

Poetry Slam stands for a vibrant form of contemporary literature. The genre combines lyrical language art, narrative storytelling, and performative elements. Especially in a multigenerational house, this stage form takes on a special social dimension: literature becomes accessible, dialogical, and immediately experienceable.

Conclusion: Experience Language Live

The Multigenerational Poetry Slam promises an evening full of language art, stage energy, and shared attention. Those who want to experience literature in its most vivid form and discover Regensburg's cultural scene up close will find a special occasion for an author encounter with the power of spoken word on October 17, 2026, at the Multigenerational House.
