Romeo and Juliet retold: Contemporary Dance at Bismarckplatz

Romeo, Julia & is a dance evening by the dance company Theater Regensburg that looks at the well-known Romeo and Juliet material from a contemporary perspective. Movement, music, and atmosphere combine to create a stage interpretation that conveys the classic material not only through language but, above all, through the body and the choreographic design.

At the center is the encounter between two figures whose story has stood for love, conflict, and emotional contrasts for centuries.
