Liebesbier Bayreuth | Hotel & Bar
The Liebesbier in Bayreuth is much more than a classic hotel or a single restaurant: Here, urban art hotel, restaurant, bar, beer culture, and event location come together in a shared area of the Maisel-&-Friends world. Those looking for a special place for a weekend, a business visit, a dinner, a celebration, or an overnight stay will find a concept here that closely combines enjoyment, design, and brewing craftsmanship. The establishment relies on a clear mix of modern smart hotel, a large selection of beers, Franconian hospitality, and an environment where historical building substance and contemporary street art coexist. Due to its location on Andreas-Maisel-Weg, Liebesbier is also well-connected and serves as a practical starting point for visits to the city of Bayreuth, cultural events, and brewery experiences. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/?utm_source=openai))
Urban Art Hotel: Rooms, Art, and Wellness
The Urban Art Hotel is one of the most distinctive elements of Liebesbier. Since January 2022, it has complemented the brewery grounds and was designed as an art project featuring works by 80 artists from over 30 countries. Each room follows its own idea from the international urban art scene, ensuring that no stay is like another. The official pages describe the establishment as a smart hotel with modern architecture, high-quality materials, and individually designed rooms; particularly highlighted are single rooms for city hoppers, family suites, and the connection of design and art. The outdoor areas and many indoor spaces are also integrated into the concept, so the hotel already speaks a clear visual language before entering. For those who want to not only visit Bayreuth but experience it atmospherically, this accommodation becomes part of the program itself. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/hotel/))
The hotel concept also includes a noticeable focus on relaxation and practicality. Guests can use the fitness room, relax in the sauna, and rely on practical details such as self-check-in from 2 PM, a staffed reception during the day, and telephone availability around the clock. The official hotel website also emphasizes that the stay is suitable not only for city trips but also for conference weekends, wedding guests, or visits related to Maisel & Friends. In the rooms, temperature and ventilation can be controlled separately, the minibar is included, and even a barrier-free double room is available. This combination of comfort, art, and functional hotel organization makes Liebesbier interesting for seekers who expect not just a place to sleep but a standalone experience under terms like urban art hotel, Bayreuth hotel, or Liebesbier info. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/hotel/))
Restaurant & Bar: Beer Menu, Cuisine, and Breakfast
The restaurant & bar of Liebesbier thrives on its strong contrast of historical brick walls, modern industrial design, and a direct view into the Maisel-&-Friends brewery workshop. The official description emphasizes that the cozy dining area and the gastro garden are only separated from the brewing process by glass. From the indoor seats, guests can see the copper kettles and the wooden barrel aging, giving the place an unusually open atmosphere. Additionally, the restaurant has been in operation since 2016 and has established itself as a fixed address in Bayreuth. With around 300 indoor seats, it is large enough for lively evenings but remains flexible enough for different occasions through niches, beer garden, and bar zones. This interplay of size and atmosphere makes Liebesbier interesting for couples, groups of friends, business dinners, or casual after-work meetings. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/about-us/))
The culinary concept is also clearly positioned. The drinks menu includes over 100 beers from around the world, including more than 20 draft beers and around 80 bottled beers; additionally, cocktails, wine, soft drinks, homemade lemonades, and freshly roasted coffee are available. For beer lovers, there is a digital beer menu and a tasting board with five Maisel-&-Friends specialties. The menu features regional and modern dishes, including burgers, steaks from local pasture-raised beef, vegetarian dishes, desserts, small beer accompaniments, and snacks. The offer is complemented by a breakfast buffet in the neighboring restaurant and special brunch dates on selected days. For those searching for a menu, beer list, or breakfast, Liebesbier provides very concrete answers and covers several search intentions with a single, broad culinary offering. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/restaurant/beverages/))
Photos, Reviews, and Atmosphere at Liebesbier
Those looking for photos of Liebesbier quickly encounter a place that functions strongly visually. The website features virtual tours and a dedicated urban art gallery, allowing for a digital exploration of the hotel, restaurant, and selected artworks. This is particularly helpful for users with image search intentions, as the spaces can not only be described but also experienced in their design impact. The official presentation makes it clear that the restaurant itself is designed like a walk-in gallery: historical brick walls meet street art from internationally renowned artists, while hotel rooms and exterior walls serve as surfaces for murals. For search queries like photos, photo, or images, Liebesbier is therefore a grateful topic, as art, architecture, and gastronomy are equally visually striking. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/hotel/))
The atmosphere can also be easily categorized. The establishment describes itself as a place where enjoyment, design, and everything that makes life more beautiful come together. Guests find space in the beer garden, at the bar, or in cozy corners for a dinner for two. In the available reviews, the atmosphere, beer selection, and service are repeatedly highlighted positively, which aligns well with the official self-presentation. For an SEO page, this is important because seekers using terms like reviews, reviews, or testimonials usually want to know how a place feels, not just what it offers. Liebesbier positions itself clearly as a relaxed yet stylish address that works for both casual meetings and special evenings. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/about-us/))

Events, Conferences, and Celebrations in the Brew Hall
Liebesbier is not only a gastronomy and hotel but also a versatile event location. The largest and best-known area is the Brew Hall, also called Brew Hall. It covers 220 square meters and offers space for up to 350 people standing or up to 220 seated guests. A permanently installed stage, a powerful projector, screens, as well as professional sound and lighting technology are already available. Additionally, there is a private terrace for aperitifs or coffee breaks and a separate foyer that can be used as a reception area or buffet zone. This is particularly attractive for events because organizers do not have to start from scratch but can rely on functional and atmospheric infrastructure. Whether wedding, birthday, company party, concert, or presentation: the Brew Hall is clearly prepared for different formats. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/meetings-and-celebrations/))
Furthermore, additional rooms are available that significantly expand the offering. The Conference Room Callista offers 85 square meters for up to 40 people and is equipped with a screen, projector, flipchart, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The Distillery covers 185 square meters and is suitable for events with up to 130 guests; the adjacent Filling Station can be used as a reception or buffet area for an additional 40 people. There is also a Tasting Room for up to 12 people, which is particularly suitable for tastings and smaller workshops. A Broadcast Studio for online and hybrid formats is also part of the concept of the Conference Center. This means that Liebesbier covers not only classic celebrations but also modern conferences, seminars, live streaming, and hybrid business events. Therefore, those searching for event venues, conference locations, or celebrations in Bayreuth will find several clearly structured options from a single source. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/meetings-and-celebrations/))
Experience Bayreuth: Location, Brewery History, and Excursions
A large part of the appeal of Liebesbier lies in the surroundings. The establishment belongs to the Maisel-&-Friends grounds, where beer and craft history are closely linked with modern gastronomy. The official brewery experience refers to the historic main building from 1887 and describes that visitors in Bayreuth can experience the history of the family brewery, observe the brewing process, and taste fresh Maisel’s Weisse at Liebesbier. Additionally, Liebesbier is closely linked with tours, the historic brewery, and other experiential offerings related to beer culture. This makes the location not isolated but part of a larger, enjoyment and culture ensemble anchored in Bayreuth. This is what makes it exciting for guests who seek more than just a restaurant or an overnight stay. ([maisel.com](https://www.maisel.com/en/experience/))
For sightseeing, the location is also strong. The official Bayreuth information from the establishment mentions the Hofgarten, the Margravial Opera House, the Bayreuth Eremitage, and the city center as destinations that can be well combined with a stay at Liebesbier. The Margravial Opera House is highlighted as a UNESCO World Heritage site and the only preserved original Baroque theater in Europe; the Hofgarten and the New Palace are also described as nearby excursion destinations. Additionally, there is a connection to the Richard Wagner Festival and the cultural city of Bayreuth as a whole. Therefore, those searching for a hotel, a bar, or an event location receive not just an address but an ideal base for culture, enjoyment, and short distances. This combination of brewery grounds, art hotel, gastronomy, and city location makes the place so relevant in online searches. ([liebesbier.de](https://www.liebesbier.de/en/experience-bayreuth/))

A great place with some elegant food and local history of Beer. My visit was for business purposes. It has multiple floors with different food services. We were on the 2nd floor. It can accommodate 60/70 people sitting. The food was sometimes multinational, natural in taste, and good. Though the quantity may or may not satisfy everybody. The service was super. Most importantly, it has a good number of local and multi-flavor Beer collection.

The place itself is super cool, it has a great atmosphere. My husband's steak was amazing, I had the fish which was pretty good. We loved the drinks selection, but it took a while for the server to take our orders. All in all we liked it, would recommend and will be coming back!

Try the spare ribs and you will get a gastronomic orgasm. Very tasty, great and fun atmosphere, fast service, various dishes. One of the best restaurants in the city. Very beautiful girls work there, they are helped by a cute robot.

We were staying at the hotel next door and came here for dinner. We also tried some of the beers, there was a great variety to choose from. The food we ordered, Roast Beef and Lamb Shank, was absolutely delicious. A wonderful spot for a tasty meal and a good drink!
