Grainet wins again in the last minute and remains league leader
SV Grainet has continued its streak in the Bezirksliga Ost and won 3:2 at SV Bischofsmais. The decisive goal was scored by Julian Sammer in the 97th minute – a victory that keeps Grainet at the top of the table and gains additional significance in a tight leading group, as the direct pursuers also won their games.
0:0 at halftime – the match turns after the break
The first half was largely uneventful, with few chances, and the score was 0:0 at halftime. Immediately after the restart, however, the game picked up significantly: In the 47th minute, Bischofsmais had a great chance to take the lead through Fuchs, but his shot hit the crossbar.
Practically in the counterattack, the home team still took the lead. Prucha got past several Grainet players in midfield and set up Matej Stefl, who finished past Grainet goalkeeper Blöchl to make it 1:0. Grainet responded quickly: A deflected shot from Niklas Bösl bounced over Ambrassat into the goal for the equalizer. Shortly after, Sebastian Kölbl put the visitors ahead 2:1 after a through ball.
Stefl equalizes – Sammer scores the final goal
Bischofsmais remained dangerous in the second half and came back into the game in the 66th minute. After a foul on Ebner in the penalty area, the referee pointed to the spot; Stefl converted the penalty to make it 2:2, completing his brace.
The decision came deep into stoppage time: After a long throw-in, a header was not properly cleared, the ball landed at Julian Sammer, who scored with a direct shot in the 97th minute to make it 3:2. For Grainet, it was already the second last-minute win within three days – previously, the team had also beaten Oberpolling late 2:1.
220 spectators in Bischofsmais thus saw a match that turned several times after the break: Grainet turned the game around, had to accept the equalizer, and still found the final answer. In a phase where small things often decide – set pieces, second balls, concentration in stoppage time – Grainet once again underlined why the team is currently at the top.
Chasers stay close: Deggendorf wins 7:2, Ruhmannsfelden 2:1
It remains tight at the top because the competition also scored points. Spvgg GW Deggendorf won 7:2 at SV Oberpolling. After the opening goal by Matthias Schäfer (23rd), the other goals were scored by Robert Baghramyan (twice), Samuel Langen, Lukas Semmler, Benedikt Troffer, and Felix Wolff.
Spvgg Ruhmannsfelden also kept pace and beat FC Obernzell-Erlau at home 2:1. Fabian Schiller scored twice (21st, 42nd), and the consolation goal by Hannes Kornexl (87th) did not change the home win.
